SW: ¡InnoTek VirtualBox pasa a ser Código Abierto!

A pesar que no hay ninguna mención a OS/2 más allá de su capacidad como cliente, en la lista de capturas de pantalla http://www.virtualbox.org/attachment/wiki/Screenshots hay una imagen de XP ejecutándose bajo OS/2:

Actualmente sólo las versiones Windows y Linux se muestran en la página de descargas:


En la página de situación del cliente, .para OS/2 Warp, afirma que funciona la estabilidad es 'buena',  y el funcionamiento es "muy bueno".

También afirma que "Requires VT-x hardware virtualization support. No Guest Additions available yet."

Squid Version 2.6s7 portado a OS/2 y eComStation

Squid version 2.6s7 ha sido portado (1/14/2007) a OS/2 y eComStation. Paul Smedley ha publicado también (9/7/2006) una compilación beta 1 de Squid version 2.6s3.


Squid ofrece 'proxy caching' de gran capacidad para clientes Web, soportando peticiones FTP, Gopher, y HTTP.
